Break Times
 
Body Techniques provides breaks in accordance with State law on the following schedule: 

  1. 15 minute break for 3.5 hours of work
  2. 30 minute lunch for 5 hours of work 
  3. 10 minute break for 6 hours of work
Break Spacing Rule: 
The break spacing rule applies to anyone would rather NOT space their breaks out according the schedule above and would rather take their breaks in a combined lunch period.  For example if a LMT is working a 5.5 hour shift they would be entitled to a 15 minute break and a 30 minute.  The LMT has to option to combine their break times into a 45 minute lunch for a longer break.  To qualify the LMT needs to "OPT OUT" of break spacing to be able to combine the break times. 

Breaks are unpaid and mandatory according to California law.  Break information can be found in your "Body Techniques Provider App" in your "assignments".
